The Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic is pleased to present:
Pre-Printing Skills Workshop
Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, 10:30-11:30 am
What to expect:
- Parents/caregivers, prepare to get your hands “dirty” and participate with your child in a variety of hands-on activities including an introduction to the Handwriting Without Tears Program.
- Come and discover how to “set the stage” so your child can print successfully.
- Learn about play-based and day-to-day activities that prepare the mind and body for learning to printing.
- By the end of the workshop, you will have a better understanding of how to help your child develop key skills for printing at home.

- Are you a parent/caregiver and have a child between 2.5—4 years of age?
- Is your child currently a client of Sunnybrook’s Neonatal Follow Up Clinic?
- Can you child remain seated for at least 5 minutes at a time?
- Does your child show an interest in paper and pencil activities?
- Has your child been introduced to the letters of the alphabet?
