Battling with your child’s behaviour problems?

The Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic is pleased to present:

Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)

Tuesday evenings, 6-8pm
June 5, 12, 19, 26

What is Triple P?

Triple P is a program for parents. It focuses on skills to manage unwanted behaviours and prevent problems from happening in the first place. When you become a parent you’re expected to become an instant expert, but all parents struggle from time to time—and that’s where Triple P can help. Being a parent of a preterm survivor has its own unique challenges and that’s why we are offering Triple P just for parents of graduates from our NICU.

What to expect:

  • 4 group sessions where you will meet other parents and share your experiences and expertise.
  • Each parent will receive a workbook to keep.
  • After the group sessions there will be 4 weekly phone check-ins with one of the group facilitators to see how you’re progressing with the strategies with your child.
  • Before the first session and after the last session we will send you questionnaires about your child’s behaviour and your parenting style. These questionnaires help us tailor the material to best meet your needs and tell us whether or not the program was useful to your family.

Cost: Free
